Pre Andalusians

Banderin XXVII is a Pura Raza Espanola stallion Spanish registered and just 3.5 years old!  He is tall for his age (a solid 15.2 and growing quickly) and a very dark slate grey (so shiny he looks like he’s wet or oiled).  Out of the famous Yeguada lines, he has lovely movement with great extension, is very gentle and well-mannered with a trot you could ride without spilling your martini (but please don’t try this at home).  His father is homozygous black, therefore Banderin will throw 50% black in his get (i.e. black is recessive and can be bred to a black mare for black foals, or color foals by a mare of color).

Standing at stud in N. California until sold.  His stud fee is $1500 to all PRE mares and $1000 all others (price includes one stallion collection and cooled shipping).  Banderin needs a competitive rider with light aids and time to train (he is green broke to ride and Liberty trained for controlled free lunging).  This boy is sweet and quiet in his stall, playful with other horses, but all business in the arena.  No bad stud behavior (no dropping, screaming, biting, etc.)  He is for sale to the right home for $22k. Price will increase with training.  Gelding possible upon request.  Would also consider trade for nice Andalusian/Lusitano mare(s) – prefer dilutes (buckskin, palomino, cremello, etc), 15.2hh and up with nice blood lines.
