Manolo Mendez Clinic at Willow Pond Hosted by Joan Williams – Success!
Just in time for his 4th birthday, our young Lusitano Stallion Cefiro do Ceu got the chance to work in-hand and under saddle with Master Dressage Instructor Manolo Mendez. The experience was fun and fruitful for all involved. There will be another video coming soon featuring Manolo’s work, but for now, please enjoy this birthday video of Cefiro. The Master of Dressage
Yes, it’s true – the “Master of Dressage” is back in the Bay Area to teach us how it’s really done. Joan Williams will be hosting one of his clinics on April 24th-26th at Willow Pond Ranch in Soquel. There will be a number of students and horses of all ages participating, including Cefiro do Ceu, our young Veiga Lusitano stallion. If you are a fan of incredible horsemanship and human-horse communication, then Manolo Mendez is for you. NEW! Cremello Lusitano Stallion Standing
Please welcome our new 3 year old double dilute (cremello) Lusitano stallion Caetano. We are so excited to have him in our barn and are offering breeding to him for the 2010 season.
He is a lovely satin white with the most incredible shine (passed to him by his sire Tufao). He has lovely gaits and great suspension with a long neck, long legs, a short back and a nice head. He is not related to the lovely Saphiro, but rather out of two inscribed and approved (PSL) horses from Brazil. His sire Tufoa Interagro remains in Brazil and his dam, Xarola do Vouga has been imported to California. Please check out his photos and video to enjoy our new boy.
